At Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Burgoyne and Dr. Brandt are dedicated to the health and well-being of our team and our patients. We are following guidance from the CDC, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, to create a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
From scheduling, to consultations, and surgery, we are taking steps to support excellent patient care and protect everyone from health risks.
Our Team: All team members are practicing social distancing at work and in the community. We are requiring hand washing and hand sanitation frequently throughout the day. Each team member will be wearing a mask. The front office has protective glass for your safety, and those team members in clinical areas are also wearing face coverage and protective gowns.
Our Office Space: From the waiting area and the check-in counter, to the consultation and surgical rooms, all spaces are sanitized and thoroughly cleaned between each patient and throughout the day.
What you can do: We ask that anyone who has a fever or has felt sick in the 2 weeks around their appointment to please let us know and we can schedule you at a time that is safest for all patients. Please wear a mask upon entering the building and throughout your time in the office. Please wash your hands upon arriving, and please utilize the hand sanitizer that is available in the waiting area and in each room. Maintain social distancing with 6 feet or more with other patients. Patients will be brought in individually unless they are a minor who may be accompanied by one adult. We encourage family to wait in the car, and you will be called with instructions when your loved one is ready for discharge. The doctors respect each patient’s needs and will tailor your care accordingly.
We are optimistic that excellent patient care and safety for everyone can be practiced within a conscientious and meticulous environment.
Dr. Brandt, Dr. Burgoyne, and our team are honored to serve you and your family.
