Facial Trauma

Unfortunately, accidents do happen and a commonly injured area is the face, including the facial bones. Our surgeons take Facial Trauma call at Augusta Health and provide treatment in the Emergency Room and at our office for patients who have sustained facial injuries.

Some situations require immediate attention and others are less urgent and can wait until the following day for evaluation. If you are seen at the Emergency Room, your ER physician will inform you if you will need immediate attention of if our doctors can see you the very next day for evaluation.

Our doctors treat all forms of facial trauma to include broken facial bones (jaws), lacerations (cuts), and damaged teeth or lost teeth. If you fell or injured yourself and have not yet seen a doctor, please call our office for evaluation. If it is an emergency, please call 911 or visit your local emergency room.
